Fax- & Voice-Jobs

Fax & Voice Jobs serve for deferred sending or for Client-Server operations.
In the Client-Server-operation you only need one modem at the server computer.
On the server CoMa continously examines whether new jobs are present and if so
dispatches these if the transmitting time has been reached. To function in this
manner the 'Send Fax- & Voice-Jobs' in the main dialogue box must be checked.
Jobs can be created by any Client computers on the network. On each Client-computer,
the Job-Folder must be set to the folder of the server.
Marked jobs can be deactivated temporarily.
Also the counter for the maximum attempts can be reseted.
The two numbers in the column status indicate the number of transmission attempts
already taken place and the maximum number of the attempts.
Double-click on an entry displays all pages of a fax-job or plays the voice-message.

It is also possible to create jobs manually with other programs. A folder must
be created in the job-folder, which contains the fax pages (only for fax jobs)
and a file SENDINFO.TXT.
Fax-pages can be present as PDF-, CoMa-fax or text/rtf files. A *.txt/rtf file is converted automatically into a graphic-page with header and footer. Several files are sent in alphabetical order.
The text file SENDINFO.TXT contains the data for the job in the following form:
NAME:Hartmann software // name
NUMBER:030/62709459 // fax/telephone number
DATE:04.06.2002
CLOCK:18:30
REPEAT:10 // number of attempts at busy or errors
DPI:200 // 100 or 200 possible
REM:Last reminder // remark
VOICE:HD/CoMa/Voice/Outgoing/Test.aiff // complete path of a Voice file only for Voice jobs
DATE, CLOCK, REPEAT, DPI and REM, when omited, use the standard pre-set and the
job is sent immediately.
